Bond Gilmer / President / Rebel Leader

Bond, as you can guess from his accent, was born in the overseas off roading world. He was raised in South Africa, where off roading is a way of life. When he moved to Australia, he remained in his desert and off road excursion element. He has crossed all major deserts in Australia, including the Simpson Desert, a 3-week trek surviving completely off what was packed in his Jeep. His rain forest excursions lasted 4 weeks; again, his Jeep being his only transport. Bond was first in Australia to import Jeep and Jeep accessories including LHD to RHD conversions. His stateside off road experience is just as impressive. He's wheeled everywhere from the Rubicon Trail to the Hammers, from Moab, Utah to the obstacle courses in Florida. Bond started Rebel Off Road to fill in the element lacking in today's corporate world: customer service.

Sandy Sausser - Lead Installer / Rebel Wrencher

Sandy was probably born with a wrench in his hand. Anyone that knows him personally can attest to Sandy's technical knowledge, deep background in the installation industry, and passion for all things four wheel drive. Over the years Sandy has been known for his "one off" builds. His most recent build / daily driver is a late model F250 Super Duty cut in half, tubed, and majorly shortened wheel base. 4x4 after 4x4, 2wd to 4wd, Sandy has either owned or built one of everything. He is trusted as our Lead Installer due to his attention to detail, fast turnaround, and consistently flawless work.

Jason Armstrong - Marketing Director / Rebel Keyboard Warrior

Jason joined our team early on as a part time web builder while he was going to college. Once he wrapped up his Public Relations degree from California State University, Fullerton, he joined our team full time as a customer service team member and online sales manager. Jason's duties include all outside communications, marketing ventures, and assisting in new product development and branding. Jason's off road industry experience started way back when he was less than a year old in his father's 1981 CJ5. He first learned to drive behind the wheel of a Jeep, and has been off roading every year of his life, including a few trips in the dirt while he was stationed in Japan in the US Navy. Since his early days bouncing around on leaf springs, Jason learned a thing or two about suspension, and now enjoys his fully coil overed 2008 Wrangler Unlimited X, nicknamed Party Barge.

Taylor Blagdon - Sales Manager / Beard Aficionado

If it wasn't for Taylor, Jason and Chris would have had a nervous breakdown by now. Might as well call Taylor, "lifesaver." He joined our sales / customer service team at the height of the off roading season, when the phones were ringing off the hook and we were struggling to keep up. His impressive resume and professional attitude made Taylor a perfect fit for how we do things here. His unique experience at a Jeep dealership for a 5 year span gives him an inside knowledge into the workings of a Jeeps lifespan: purchase, trail use, upgrade, and build completion. Taylor has proudly owned two Jeep Wrangler JK's, a 2-door and a 4-door, giving him great insight into making suspension systems work with two very different wheel bases.

Josh Reiter - Installer / Rebel Walk On Hero

Josh came to us when we absolutely needed a hero. We were bogged down with a 3 week installation backlog when he showed up with wrenches in his hands and saved the day. Since then he has continued to work hard and professionally build hardcore 4x4s. His industry experience dates back years, before the most recent JK model showed up on dealership lots. One day we'll learn a little more about Josh's past. He is, thankfully, quieter than the rest of our team. We may not know much about his outside hobbies, except for the BMX bike that showed up recently in the shop.

Chris Towles - Sales Specialist / Rebel Trailer Guy

What can we say about Chris. Possibly the biggest heart in the industry, and a sense of loyalty found no where else. He has been a friend for countless years and translates perfectly into an employee. If you have ever been out off roading with our team, you've met and trusted Chris. Sure, he trips on his own feet now and then, but it's part of the Chris "experience." Chris recently just picked up his first Jeep, a 2011 Unlimited X. It quickly grew up into one of our most recognizable builds, Storm Trooper.

Austin Foley - Installer / Rebel Mr. Fixit

You wouldn't know it, but the remote control world translates well into the "full scale" side of the off road industry. Austin was the go to man at a local hobby store when he began his internship here. Surprisingly, control arms, suspension articulation, gearing, etc all translates from the smaller rc world to the 4x4 aftermarket! Two seconds hanging around Austin and you instantly see the potential in this installer. His stellar attitude and sense of humor are invaluable here. He's grown from a young intern into a trusted member of our installation team.

Gabe Ramirez - Sales / Token FJ Cruiser

Gabe actually started with Rebel as a customer looking for a King suspension package for his FJ Cruiser. His attitude, product knowledge, and professionalism was enough to bring him to our side of the counter and make him a team member. In fact, Gabe volunteered to help man our 2013 King of the Hammers pit crew and help answer customers questions in our booth. Gabe is now a trusted member of our sales and tech support team bringing with him experience in Toyota, truck, and specfically FJ Cruiser performance and suspension accessories. It's not that he doesn't like Jeeps - he just wanted round headlights in something other than Chrysler.

Matt Moghaddam - Sales / Rebel Taco(ma)

Matt came to us with a very tough road ahead of him. Not because of any personal issues, but we are all Jeepers, and he is a hardcore truck fan. Whatever, solid front axles aren't for everyone. In all seriousness, he's a fantastic guy. Loads of personality, professionalism, and took to the Rebel way of doing things very quickly. He seems to be happiest when he's not on pavement - every photo on his Facebook page is him on a trail somewhere. When he's not enjoying long walks on the beach..... just kidding! He's an avid photographer and can rock some serious photoshop and photo processing. He's already a valuable part of our team and we look forward to his continued growth in our company.

Chris Paul - Installer / "Time is Money"

How dedicated is Chris? He wouldn't even look at the camera for his company photo - because "time is money!" Chris has been a target hire for years, he actually knew Rebel Leader Bond in "a prior life" (aka former 4x4 company.) Chris brings to the table years of experience as an off road installer. His career has made him lightening fast with extremely high quality results. His background is truck and Jeep meaning we can throw anything at him and expect it done right and ready to hit a trail. His first day our other Chris wrapped his tool box in shrink wrap - to the point where you couldn't tell what it was. Game on.

Chad Jones - Sales / Can't Stand Still

Chad brings over 12 years of off road industry experience to the Rebel team, making him one of our more "seasoned" staff members. He actually moved from Las Vegas to join us! While most of the Rebels drive somewhat street legal rigs to work and the trail, Chad is the proud papa of "Chadillac" a 100% custom chassis rock buggy complete with real "wire wheel" beadlocks and an Escalade front grille. You can't miss it. What do we mean by "can't stand still" you ask? He can't stand still. Chad has Red Bull in his veins. He actually prefers to stand most of the day a chair restricts him. His "active" lifestyle includes snowboarding and riding his Harley on weekends. He may not be able to sit down and sit still, but he can whip up a killer off road vehicle for his customers and do a better Bond impression than most!

Rebel Off Road has quickly become the #1 destination for fully customizing vehicles from outside of California. We provide door to door transportation arrangement and communication throughout the entire transit process. Vehicles are photographed and inventoried upon receipt so you know that no matter how far it has traveled to us, it has arrived safe and secure.

We have the logistical experience to understand we are not simply transporting a "Jeep Wrangler."

We are transporting a modified machine that is wider, taller, and heavier than before. This crucial data helps prevent delays and headaches associated with both nationwide and international transits.

The Transportation Process

The most important part about building your vehicle is establishing how you want it to perform. Our staff will help you choose the right components for your off road style and/or daily driving needs we can guarantee the vehicle we deliver meets every one of your expectations. A deposit is taken to begin ordering parts and a calendar date for pickup and an estimated completion and return/delivery date is set.

Once we have established the components that suits your needs we will arrange for pickup from your preferred location.

Upon vehicle delivery to Rebel we will photograph and inventory your vehicle and begin the parts installation process. Takeoff/old components can be either discarded or sent back with the vehicle.

We photograph and document your build both online and through social media keeping you and our fans up to date on our progress.

We eagerly share this information as it helps you see our build methodology and helps give your vehicle it's own personality.

Once your build is complete we arrange with the transportation company for return delivery.

We make sure to notify them of your vehicle's final dimensions including weight so they can anticipate a larger trailer. The vehicle is again photographed and inventoried prior to departure.

Once your vehicle has been picked up and has left our facility, information.

we provide you with the transit firm's contact information and vehicle tracking

We will provide you with the transportation company's information

and once your vehicle has been picked up well will give you the vehicle tracking information.

"Back in November 2011 I was wheeling my Jeep locally and ran into Chris in one of the Jeep JKs with the large Rebel logos. We chatted and he told me about the shop. Than at King of the Hammers and again at Tierra Del Sol I swung by their sponsored tent to talk about work I was planning with Bond. "I bought my JK in 2008. I started by thumbing through the quadratec catalog and buying things for my build. I had somebody local to my home build the car. It looked pretty good , but as I started rock climbing I realized I needed so much more. I was at the Big Bear Jeep Jamboree in 2009 and asked if anybody knew how I might obtain a certain sway bar disconnect that seemed to be not avaiable at the time for my JK.They turned me towards Bond at Rebel Off Road. "I am in the military stationed in Bahrain. I have used Quadratec and Northridge for a few years. I was surfing the net looking for some specific items, ran across the Rebel site, and found much more than what I was looking for. Navigation is easy, and much better. I placed an order for quite a few items. I bought Teraflex flex arms, Fox shocks, synergy ball joints, etc. Jason at Rebel is awesome. I cannot say enough. USPS Priority shipped all my items, and for being in Bahrain, I got my stuff in 5 days. I did not have to blink before I had my stuff. The items were packaged well, and installed easily. So the boys at Rebel stepped up to the plate and had me all peaked and tweaked in a matter of minutes. (Rebel also had me in the next day) That is maintenance minutes, which those of us that have worked in any type of maintenance capacity know that these minutes are normally 3-5 times longer than a "normal" minute. "I noticed a picture of what turned out to be Jason's (works at Rebel Offroad) Jeep and ordered a set for myself. I had a pair of these welded to my Rockhard rear bumper on my TJ. They are of excellent quality and hold the Rotopax very securely. I like the fact that they store the Rotopax in an area this is generally unused space and keeps them out of sight of thieves. While the Rotoax only hold 2 gallons each, that 4 gallons is about 1/4 tank in my Jeep (plenty). I have to say I was also very impressed with their customer service. I was headed out of town and they went above and beyond to get these back from their fabricator in time for them to be installed before I left. I believe how you treat your customers says a lot about you and your business. They were very nice to my wife when she visited and and left her with a great first impression. Very nice welds, locker switches we're wired up perfectly, the air hoses are ran along the frame where nothing will tag or snatch it. Innovative way to zip-tie them along the hard lines and very intuitively giving enough slack to accommodate for the suspension articulation. The welding was done very smoothly, accurate, and in a slow steady pace. Both welds are identical on the driver and passenger side. The lockers have yet to be "Wheeled" but they both turn on and off and are beautifully wired to led on when the lights are turned on. The gears are running smoothly and I couldn't be anymore grateful for the money spent on gears. Easily said without hesitation that the gears were a better bang for the dollar than the: Superchips, CAI, MBRP Exhaust, and Throttle Body spacer. Last and not least, thank you guys for going beyond my expectations from beginning to end, getting the parts I needed next day, from installation to end product and doing other little things like zip tieing the brake lines to the ABS lines when never even mentioning a thing about them. I had purchased the complete big brake system from you earlier in the year (dont know if you remember or not) But I have been through the Drummond Island Jeep Jamboree since then and I can say that I was totally impressed with its performance! There were a couple of incredibly steep climbs up and down, most of those in our group slid or rolled down the steeps, but for me there was one spot in particular where I was the only one in the group that was able to use the brakes to stop myself like a fly stuck to paper at a wickedly steep angle, The brakes performance was absolutely astounding! City: Long Beach, CA. I call him Bondini, because he magically makes the problems go away. First off the delivery service is great, he will send his guy to pick up and return your Jeep and for little jobs it is back the same day. I had my 2007 JK in for a nut and bolt checkup after running the Rubicon trail, fortunately his mechanic Sandy really checks the vehicle thoroughly and found that my Poly Performance front axle housing had cracked. Sheeet I thought, the Claw Hammer run was in two days. So it was Bondini to the rescue he called Poly and convinced them to send their welder to his shop and they welded it right up, amazingly cool they were able to weld it on a Friday afternoon! But the repair was finished late Friday and the Claw Hammer run was Saturday morning, so what does Bondini do? He sends his guy Tolls deliver it to me in the desert Saturday Morning!! When you go on runs with his group it is always a fun time and if you break down they will help you. I had a power steering hose break and they got it bandaged up enough on the trail to drive back to camp and from there his mechanics fixed it so I could drive home!
