Duration: 1 hour: Free: The first part of class focuses on learning and applying fundamental techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. You will practice various techniques using a traditional Gi, also known as a kimono. Learn and practice submissions, escapes, positioning and self-defense maneuvers. The second part puts your training to the test with live sparring matches, where you can put your moves together to see whether you have what it takes to control an opponent. As you train, you will build strength, physical endurance, and the ability to react quickly and successfully in real life defense situations.

Sparring is optional, but it is recommended for faster progress. If you have your own Gi, please bring it to the class, otherwise, you will need to rent one for $5.
Muay Thai - Trial Class
Duration: 1 hour: Free: Turn your entire body into a tight, toned weapon. Under the guidance of your expert instructor, you will learn principles of striking with punches, kicks, knees and elbows while utilizing knowledge of distance, timing and footwork in the standing range. You'll use different methods to perfect your moves, including shadow boxing, footwork training, heavy bag training, focus mitt training, and Thai pad training. These methods will help you to develop devastating power, speed and superb cardiovascular endurance with your movements. With that level of fitness, you'll be ready to defend yourself in any situation.

Boxing - Trial Class
Duration: 1 hour: Free: Getting personalized attention from your expert instructor, you will start off class with a vigorous warm up of jump roping to get your blood flowing. From there, you'll work through a variety of exercises to perfect your jabs, hooks, crosses, and uppercuts. You'll even put them together in original and practical combinations. You will practice with defensive movements and footwork. As you train, you'll get an incredible cardio workout that will burn calories, tone your muscles, and give you confidence in your hard-hitting self-defense skills.
