About Us

We're so glad you're visiting P.Y. Fabrics! You never know what you'll find here.

P.Y. Fabrics is located in the beautiful state of Kentucky in the town of Cynthiana.

Located approximately 30 miles north of Lexington and 60 miles south of Cincinnati on U. S. Highway 27 S. Our shop carries fabric for the quilter, home sewer, and crafter. In addition to fabrics, we also carry notions, books, patterns, quilt kits, embroidery supplies, and gift items.

P.Y. Fabrics was started culminating a long-time dream of Mother and Daughter (Gini & Diane) as a fabric shop with a few novelty fabrics.

The shop was aptly named Purrsonally Yours for our love of cats and purrsonalizations were to be the item of the day. Our customers, however, had other ideas and through many twists and turns we listened and changed our name to P.Y. Fabrics yes, P.Y. stands for Purrsonally Yours and became a quilt shop. Between the two of us we have been sewing for approximately 90+ years so it was an easy jump plus we are both "Fabricaholics"! Did I mention we are Great-Grandmothers and Grandmother and that's how we make the 90+ years.

We carry many top name brand fabrics in a variety of designs and colors, including batiks.

Most of our line is 100% cotton, with a few poly cottons. Also, we have large selection of Minkee, Fleece, and flannels. Check out our prices, you won't be disappointed! Don't forget to check out our sale prices too!

Hours

We are happy to open at special times for groups calling ahead! We would love for you to come visit our shop during business hours:

Monday through Friday

9:00 - 6:00.

Saturday

9:00 - 5:00.

Closed Sundays

This is the Lord's Day.
