For instance, Protection Island seems like a dry, uninhabitable place, but it's actually home to thousands of amazing nesting birds -- so come explore it on this incredible bird watching cruise! The island is only a short ride away from Port Townsend, and visited by many looking for a glimpse of the elusive tufted puffin. While there's no guarantee that you'll see the puffins, chances are very good you'll spot some incredible nesting birds, including rhinoceros auklets, double-crested cormorants, pelagic cormorants, and so many more.

Travelers must be checked-in no later than 30 minutes prior to sailing. Due to stringent departure requirements, late arrivals will be cancelled with no refunds.
