All Levels Heated Vinyasa (PPY)
Vinyasa is a popular style of yoga that seamlessly links breath with movement. It is often referred to as 'flow yoga' or 'meditation in motion' because of the smooth way in which the poses transition from one to another, almost like a dance. Heated Power Vinyasa takes the traditional vinyasa series and incorporates a dynamic flow that detoxifies, heals and rejuvenates the body. It is a powerful, and transformational class that cultivates strength, endurance, focus, balance, and flexibility. Instruction is based on alignment and breath. The teacher will offer challenges and refinements to more advanced students while providing structure and support for beginners. In a vinyasa class, your breath is synchronized with your movement and you will be cued to move from one pose to another on either an inhale or an exhale. Students have the opportunity to cultivate gratitude and independence in their yoga practice, while learning to integrate these tools into daily life. Suited to students of all levels, classes are heated to 95 degrees with approximately 50% humidity to help facilitate the integration of sweat, strength and spirit

Hatha Vinyasa
In Hatha Vinyasa, there is emphasis on proper alignment to ensure that the most benefit is derived from the pose and that risk of injury is reduced. Props, including blankets, blocks and straps, are incorporated to achieve proper alignment. Breathing is emphasized to help students experience a mindful practice. Breathing (Pranayama) and meditation techniques may also be taught as a class focus. Hatha Vinyasa is an excellent style for students who appreciate longer holds in individual postures so that they may begin to experience the poses more deeply from the inside. Students who prefer a slower and more meditative approach to practice (while still reaping the benefits of a physical practice) will benefit greatly from Hatha Vinyasa. The intention for this class is to be able to express yourself in the practice of yoga and to embrace that it is your practice and that you are invited to show up exactly as you are. The room is heated between 85-90 degrees with some humidity. This class is accessible to all levels

Between meetings and conference calls, take some time for yourself! Lunchtime Yoga is the perfect mid-day yoga "snack". You'll return to your day feeling refreshed and centered. Students are taken through a flow of breath and movement that will be sure to pick you up and send you back to your afternoon with a new view. Our Lunchtime Yoga is a 45 minute vinyasa style class offered at the affordable rate of $5. Lunchtime Yoga classes are often taught by newer staff members or teachers who recently completed a yoga teacher training, and styles may vary. This is a 45 minute class that begins promptly at 12:15pm and ends at 1:00pm. The room is not heated and humidity is low. It is a great class for students of all levels
Heated Slow Flow Vinyasa (PPY)
Slow Flow is a steady vinyasa performed at a slow, strong pace in a heated room. The goal is not to achieve a specific amount of postures within a set time, instead we work on being present with our breath through slow movements and postures that are grounding, build muscular endurance and create stability and focus. You will move through a different series of postures each time you attend, with a long relaxation period at the end of class. The room is heated to approximately 90 degrees with some humidity. This class is accessible to all levels
Candlelight Flow Vinyasa (PPY)
Join us as the sun begins to set for an all levels flow with a soothing candlelit glow in the studio. The pace is a little slower, but still powerful. This class is the perfect way to wind down the weekend and set the stage for a great week. You will love the relaxing lavender cloths at the end of class...yum! This is a heavily attended class so please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class. The room is heated to approximately 90 degrees with moderate humidity. This class is accessible to all levels

Hatha Vinyasa Level II
Come to this class to experience your edge, to learn, and use your understanding of foundations to move safely and intelligently towards a focus pose. There will be a mix of Hatha, Alignment, Vinyasa, Inversions, Backbends and breath work. Although this class is open to all, it is designed for those that have been practicing for some time
Sunrise Yoga (PPY)
Awaken the body and awaken the mind with a reassuring combination of breath and asana. This early morning class will move you slowly and mindfully through traditional sun salutations and skillfully crafted vinyasa sequences. The room is heated to 90 degrees with moderate humidity. This class is accessible to all levels
Restorative (ANNEX)
If yoga were a buffet of delicious dishes to choose from, the poses in the Restorative class would be the centerpiece of the dessert table. This class offers students an opportunity to release and reset by using blocks, bolsters and blankets in well-supported postures that allow the body to initiate relaxation. The class will begin with a slow vinyasa flow and will then take to the floor for restful and restorative poses that will be held for several minutes. This class presents a wonderful, complementary opportunity for the power yoga practice, as restorative yoga further encourages mindful body awareness, stress reduction and rejuvenation. This class accessible to all levels and is 60 minutes long. The room is heated between 80-85 degrees for warmth and comfort

Heated Power Vinyasa classes are powerful transforming classes that are suited to students of all levels. Modifications for poses are given. All Levels Vinyasa
A powerful flowof breath and movement. Classes will vary and offer a challenging flow often with longer holds but always a focus of breath and movement. Room will be heated to approximately 85 degrees with a comfortable level of humidity. Class is suited to students of all levels.
Lunch Time Yoga

Providence Power Yoga and Devine City Cycle have teamed up to create a workshop that on first appearance may seem like the two don't quite go together. Cycling and Yoga are the perfect compliment. Both allow you to go inside of yourself in an interesting way. They give you a the ultimate blanched workout - muscles get strengthened and stretched and the mind goes to to a more inward place. In this workshop you will have 45 minutes of low impact high cardiovascular cycling at Devine City Cycle then head over the Providence Power Yoga for a 45 minute heated vinyasa class with a sequence designed to stretch and strengthen muscles....and end with a fabulous savasana!
