Preparing new and exciting cuisine, alongside traditional fare, is the goal of Daniel Darves-Bornoz owner/executive chef of Unique Catering & Milano, Newton Plaza, Latham, Milano North in Lake Placid Village and Provence, in Stuyvesant Plaza Albany.
Daniel began his journey in the culinary field upon graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 1978. He continued his training in Paris, and Brittany, France. where he refined his skills under master chefs for three years. Upon returning to the states, Daniel continued to perfect his talents in New York City and San Francisco working with Christian DeLouvier, Alain Senderens and Alain Chapel.
