Skateboarding

Duration: 1 hour; $35; In this beginners' class, your young boarders will learn the fundamentals of skating from a professional instructor, who will keep things exciting while also teaching responsibility and smart decision making on the course. Speaking of the course, it includes a Skatelite mega ramp with multiple drop-in platforms as well as the first indoor action sport airbag in the United States! The class curriculum focuses on strategic skill progression and includes lessons in riding transitions, ledges, rails, hips, drops and flatground tricks. Students are also introduced to various cross-training methods, and taught how balance, flexibility, and fitness relate to skating ability and overall wellness.
