Tandoor Specialties
Tandoor is an oven made from clay, a simple artifact which does many things, bake bread or roast lamb and chicken. All preparations cooked in the tandoor are marinated in yogurt together with a special blend of fresh spices and herbs to suit each variety of preparation. The tandoor is kept at high temperature with charcoal which heats its walls and this heat radiated together with smoldering charcoal does the cooking. This process seals in the goodness and the smouldering charcoal also blends the food into a special flavor.
