Prezza is an Italian Restaurant named after the ancient Italian town where Chef Anthony Caturano's grandmother was born. Nestled in the mountains of Italy's Abruzzi region, the tiny village offered its people few choices in their diet. Pork, polenta and vegetables became staples on the dining table. Families were forced to create unique, flavorful dishes with the foods born from their land. Today, Prezza enhances this peasant style of Italian cooking by incorporating foods from other Mediterranean regions into the Restaurant's menu. With old-world style and heavy emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients, Prezza brings overflowing dishes of robust flavors and rich portions to Boston's North End.
