Pride of Philly Steaks! POP'S, BEST cheesesteak anywhere! POP’s is an acronym for Pride of Philly Steaks. Shortly after we opened, our customers began calling us “POP’s Philly Steaks” or just “POP’s.” That’s fine with us, because POP’s is an easy to remember short name for you to get the BEST cheesesteak anywhere! our mouth watering cheesesteaks are made at 501 S. Decatur Blvd. in Las Vegas, Nevada (on the Southeast corner of Alta and Decatur). It’s our only location, and we're certain this is one of the things that makes our sandwiches special, ensuring constant quality control and superb customer satisfaction; you can’t find another POP’s anywhere else! The distinctive POP’s A-frame building was actually built in 1964 by a franchisee for Weiner Schnitzel. It later became Weenie Bender which was subsequently changed to an A&W Root Beer. Then in 1993 it became a cheesesteak restaurant.
