Ponty Bistro is located at 218 Third Avenue, between 18th and 19th Streets near Gramercy Park. We are two cousins who moved to the United States from Dakar, Senegal in 1995, when we entered the restaurant business in New York City.
During the past fifteen years, we have worked for internationally renowned chefs including Daniel Boulud at Daniel Restaurant and Café Boulud, and at Vong and Mercer Kitchen for Jean-Georges Vongerichten, among others. It has always been our dream to own a restaurant, and now Ponty Bistro is our “American Dream".
