Duration: 45 min; Free; Jiu-jitsu: Jiu-jitsu is a combat sport that uses grappling and striking techniques to overtake armed or armored opponents. Because of its unique strategy, it is possible for smaller practitioners to overpower opponents who are armed with a weapon. In this class you'll learn the fundamentals of this rewarding sport - such as kicks, punches, blocks and throws - as you improve your overall strength, endurance and physical fitness. Your friendly instructor will mesh traditional techniques and fun for a welcoming learning atmosphere. Not only will you get a great workout, you'll gain more confidence as you learn important self-defense techniques and lessons in self-discipline and confidence.
