Wanna Party?
Our little pizzeria is cozy and it's located upstairs just off the busy town square in downtown Jackson. It's just the right size for parties of 30 50 people. And in the summer, our deck is a great place to mingle and people-watch. Our menu makes for great party food and can be customized to your needs. We have a few extra non-menu items both food and beverage that we can prepare for parties. We do not charge a room fee; rather, we charge a per-person rate that includes a food and beverage minimum plus coverage for the room, based on the time of day (nights are more expensive), day of the week (Friday and Saturday are our busiest nights) and the time of year (summer is a premium, off-seasons are much more affordable). We love to throw a good party, so please inquire.
Catering
Pizzeria Caldera will cater your party at your home or elsewhere. To us, "catering" has a broad definition. If you're in need of as few as six 18-inch pies for a small party or you'd like us to come to your home with appetizers, salads and pizzas, we can take care of you.
Kid "Tossing Parties"
Looking for a fresh idea for a child's birthday party? No, we're not tossing children. Bring them into Caldera and let them toss their own dough! In two hours, your kids can learn how to throw the perfect pizza well, that's the goal anyhow. Our party package for 10 kids starts at $195. Each child can make an individual 1 topping pizza, plus we throw in two pizzas of choice for adults and fountain sodas for all. Bring in your own cake and decorations if you like. Pizza has always been readily available in Jackson Hole, but not always great pizza. In 2009, after a decade of experimenting with bread-baking, Pizzeria Caldera owner Chris Hansen began experimenting with pizza-making. “When people ask me how I learned how to make pizza, I half-jokingly say, ‘From the Internet.’” After a year of experimenting with dough, sauce and topping combinations, Hansen knew he had a recipe that could fill a niche in Jackson Hole that was big enough to haul a pizza oven through.
Pizzeria Caldera opened in December of 2011 after two years of research and searching – soul and location. The rest is history in the making.
