A graduate from The George Washington University with a degree in Theater and a graduate of acting at The Atlantic Acting School in Manhattan, Amanda knows what it means to live an active lifestyle. She realized the need to be toned and fit. Pilates has truly changed her body and mental health. She feels more energized throughout the day and can push herself beyond her previous physical limits. Pilates isn't going to change your life over night but consistant training will bring guarenteed results. She decided to take my practice to the next level by becoming a Fully Certified Pilates Trainer through BalancedBody and is in the process of earning her Comprehensive Certification. She owns a Balanced Body Pilates IQ Reformer, EXO Chair and arc barrel, that she keeps in her personal studio where she conducts private lessons. She also works with clients in a fully equipped studio with Balanced Body Pilates apparatus and another studio with Stott equpitment.
Amanda truly believe in the Pilates Method as a tool for improving ones health, strength, flexibility and overall well being. She loves Pilates because of its low impact and profound results. This form of exercsies not only feels great to do, but also engages every muscle in ones body. She enjoys making her teaching environment fun, challenging and rewarding by using all of her interpersonal skills and theatrical training to boost her clients spirits which drives them to succeed at their fitness goals whether beginner or advanced.
