Private Pilates Instruction
After completing the Introductory Package, continue with private instruction for fine-tuning your workout, updating your workout, and addressing specific issues or injuries.
After a strong foundation in Pilates is established, Reformer Classes and Jump Classes are a great way to practice Pilates with a friend or two. One instructor leads 2 to 4 students, each on their own Reformer, through a series of Pilates exercises. Sessions are 55 minutes.
Get your heart rate pumping while doing our Cardio Reformer class. Participants will do intervals of cardiovascular training using the jump board integrated with flexibility and strength exercises. Come enjoy an exhilarating workout. 55 minutes
Tight hamstrings? Shoulder tension? Low back aching? This class will provide a full body workout with a special focus on stretching and increasing flexibility. We will get your spine moving in all directions to help release tension and maintain optimal mobility. 55 minutes
Jump Class is a unique way to get your abs firing, your heart pumping and musculoskeletal system moving. One of the many great benefits of practicing Pilates on the Jump Board is increased bone density and muscle strength without the stress on the joints from traditional plyometrics. Sessions are 25 minutes.
Reformer Stretch Express
This class can be used as a quick, low impact workout to help you start (or finish) your day, or you can use this class as a warm up, combining it with a full length Reformer class. 25 minutes
ThaiFlex is a form of bodywork that incorporates a combination of point pressure and yoga-like stretching. A ThaiFlex session is great for stress relief and the elimination of tension in the body. It is very beneficial for those who find themselves stiff, sore, and tired. It enhances strength and flexibility, relaxes sore or tense muscles, and can help to rebuild lost range of motion. During a ThaiFlex session, the client remains clothed throughout and the service is performed on a comfortable floor mat. The unique style and graceful movements of a ThaiFlex session bring well-being to both the client and the practitioner. Sessions are 55 minutes.

At Pilates by the Bay, we want you to build a strong Pilates foundation. We will customize your program based on your age, fitness goals, and any previous injuries. Your program will include mat work and equipment work, primarily on the Reformer.
