Pilates by Dena is located in south Tampa, Florida and run by pilates instructor, Dena Curtin. It is a small and personal studio focusing on helping clients of all ages and fitness levels to develop a fuller sense of self as well as a stronger and leaner body. We follow a classical pilates philosophy which focuses on strengthening the core of the body and is based on the teachings of Joseph Pilates. We help our clients coordinate mind, body and breath to develop sleek and functionally strong abdominal muscles, strong and supple backs, and overall alignment. Clients will see improvement in balance, posture, coordination, strength, and flexibility. Pilates is also an effective way to rehabilitate injuries and chronic pain. Sessions are carefully structured around the client's experience and ability.
