The name was chosen because our location is similar to where you would find a bird's nest and what it feels like in our imagination- on a small corner that is cozy and comfortable.We like our customers to come in and enjoy themselves with our down to earth hospitality. If he is not in the kitchen carefully preparing the scrumptious dishes, he is out and about making sure everyone is satisfied and will engage in conversation with a few humorous tidbits thrown in to lighten the air.Pino was raised in a small town near Napoli called Benevento. He has lived around the world managing restaurants and food services for many of the largest companies. His travels have taken him from Italy to England and other European countries, to the Middle East and Bermuda. Eleven years ago he decided to bring his family and Southern Italian expertise to Boston. Since opening, although his restaurant is not on the main line, the local people who have come to enjoy our food have continually returned. Dine here once and you will want to return and try everything else on our fresh menu.Why are different- to ensure the freshest foods with simple preparation and ingredients that are original to their roots. Each and every day Pino goes to the various markets in the area and only buys the premium cuts and filets for the restaurant. Nothing is prepared in advance of being ordered and each dish is carefully cooked in its own pan. Our sauces are light to ensure the true flavor of the main dish comes through with the perfect aroma and taste. No other establishment in the North End cooks everything from scratch with the care and precise flavors that everyone raves about.
