You will find this gem of a Chinese place not in Chinatown, but tucked into a modest brick building in residential Murray Hill. Inside, there's nothing remarkable about the decor, but the savory, aromatic Cantonese specialities - and a reasonable price, to boot - keep locals coming back for more. The generous menu cites some 200 different choices, ranging from steamed flounder in black bean sauce and the much-acclaimed pepper and salty shrimp to crispy roasted duck and shredded pork, and a variety of noodle dishes including rice noodles (mai fun), pan-fried noodles and lo mein. Don't forget to bring your own wine or beer, since we don't serve alcohol.
