Phnom Penh House was first opened in 1986, when our family was given political asylum after surviving the Khmer Rouge torment in Cambodia. Seeking a fulfilling life and a promising start in our new country, all members of our family put what we had together and opened our first business, a Cambodian restaurant in Oakland Chinatown. Decades later, due to appreciated patronage from our loyal customers, we were able to open up a second location in the beautiful Laurel District of Oakland. On this site, you will find our menu, so that you can take a look at the great dishes we have to offer. You can also find our contact information if you have any questions. We encourage you to try authentic Cambodian food at one of our convenient locations. We are sure you will enjoy our dishes loaded with exotic spices and herbs. We are proud of being able to bring a bit of our culture to you, and hope that you will return for more.
