About Us
Pharos Burgers opened Jan. 17, 1994, which is concurrent with the Northridge earthquake. We like to say that "the ground shook when we opened that day." This is a family owned and operated business. We are part of the local fabric that makes up the three city border. We are popular with the residents, city employees, and youths who crave our chili cheese fries. My parents Tom & Argyro , brother Tas, sister Paula and me Bill have worked and built Pharos all the way till the present. Pharos is the Greek word for lighthouse. Why was Pharos chosen? Because lighthouses have always been beacons in society for direction, places of rest for travelers, and a place for dining when on a journey. So Pharos Burgers is just the right place for you to stop into when you are on your way to wherever it is that you are going.
