Pet Sitting for All Pets
Pet sitters can make things so much easier for you and your furry family, especially if you will be away from home for an extended period of time.
When you hire a pet sitter, they will visit your pets in your home. This is beneficial because the pets are able to feel secure and comfortable in their home environment, as well as follow their usual routine. Furthermore, they receive more attention than if they were in a kennel, and you do not have to worry about them contracting contagious illnesses such as kennel cough. Pet sitters will also be there to make sure that any small animals in the home receive proper care, as well as look after your home while you are away
Hiring a pet sitter will help you to have "peace of mind" that your furry kids are being fed, exercised, and played with.
Forget the guilt of imposing on family members, friends, or neighbors – let your pets stay at home where they're most comfortable. With their own bed, toys, and familiar surroundings they will not feel so stressed while you are away
We offer pet sitting service in your home, while you are out of town.
We take care of dogs, cats, horses, ferrets, birds, fish, hedgehogs, and any other small animals. We also take care of wildlife and farm animals
While you are away we can also pick up your mail, take out your trash, water your plants and make your home look occupied.
Your local insured and bonded pet sitter goes through a background check so you don't have to worry
Our dog sitting service usually includes a walk or play and feeding, depending on your instructions.
Our cat sitting service usually starts with the litter box cleaning, feeding, then playtime!
On our pet sitting visits we keep a daily diary for you, so you can see how your babies were doing while you were away.
We can also send you an email or a text message if you wish
If you have multiple animals you pay a discount rate for the other furry children.
We charge per visit and per animal

Daily Dog Walking
Many of our clients work outside of the home or have otherwise busy schedules.
We are available to visit your dogs as often as needed during the day. It is very important and beneficial for your dog to have regular exercise. A fenced in yard is not enough to fulfill all of your dogs needs. Like people, dogs require daily exercise and mental stimulation to stay healthy in body and mind. Fresh air and exercise do a doggie good!
On our private dog walks we provide one-on-one leash walking sessions in the areas of your preference, usually within your neighborhood.
We understand that every dog has different needs, so the duration of the walk, the distance, and the pace of our exercise will vary to suit each of our clients. After our walk we change your animals' water, give them treats (if permitted), love, and a good bye kiss!
Dog walking is the most common form of exercise for your dog – and in fact, both you and your pup can benefit from this great activity.
Without proper exercise, your dog may become irritable or frustrated, and resort to destructive behaviors to relieve stress and pent up energy
With most people working away from home, it can be difficult to find the time and energy to walk your dog as much as he may want.
In this case, there are many benefits to hiring a dog walker. By hiring a dog walker to be there when you cannot, you can ensure that your dog will get the proper exercise he or she needs in order to maintain a healthy body and mind. Additionally, dog walking can help your dog to be properly socialized with other people, environments and animals. Dog walkers will also reinforce your dog's established obedience training as well as support house-breaking habits
In addition to being healthy for your dog, hiring a dog walker can make things much easier for you as well
you will no longer have to stress about having a busy schedule, and can relax with your pup when you come home from work. Furthermore: a dog receiving the proper amount of exercise is much less likely to misbehave

Pet Waste Removal Service
We are your solution to a safe, clean, waste-free environment!
Let our dog waste removal service take care of the most unpleasant but necessary part of dog ownership
We welcome the opportunity to provide you and your pets with a clean and healthy yard to enjoy all year.
There are many advantages to keeping your yard clean. Dog waste compromises the appearance of your yard, attracts flies and other pests, can pollute ground water, may offend the neighbors, and can even endanger the health of your dogs and your family
In 1991, The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) declared pet waste a "nonpoint source of pollution"
putting pet waste under the same listing as many toxic chemicals and oil. Dog waste will not help fertilize your yard, but will actually harm it – creating discoloring and killing many plants. Dog waste is unsafe around a home environment, as it may harbor many harmful bacteria and parasites
Dog waste removal services exist to make life more pleasant for dog owners by eliminating the most unpleasant aspects of dog ownership at a surprisingly low cost.
We come to your yard at least once a week to clean up what your pets leave behind, and take this unwanted job off of your hands.
We disinfect and deodorize our tools and shoes after we finish each yard to avoid cross-contamination. We double bag the waste and dispose of it properly
For more information on our Pet Waste Removal Service, you may contact us at our office.

Company History
March 1, 1995 is when I officially started Pet Watch Professional Pet Sitting Service in Cumming, Georgia.
On March 1, 2013, we will celebrated our eighteenth year in business.
I started Pet Watch as a home based business, so I could take care of my 25-month-old and my 3-month-old sons.
Having no capital, I borrowed $1000 from my parents for advertising to get started. My first obstacle encountered was that I had no references. I received calls, but since I did not have references, people were unsure of my services. I decided that the next person that called, I would cut the rate in half to provide pet sitting services if he/she provided me with a letter of reference. The next person that called, gave me many referrals. It presented me with the start I needed. I had clients within several weeks.
The first year, I was doing all the pet sitting, taking reservations, office work, marketing, etc. that is required to run a business.
By the end of that year, I knew I needed help, so I brought on a friend to help me with the pet sitting. I contacted other pet sitting companies on what was their procedures to hire pet sitters. I created contracts and modified all paperwork to have independent contractors as pet sitters and Pet Watch still uses this method today
Our second year, 1996 was great. We were averaging approximately 50 new clients a quarter.
I created a company policy and procedures manual, brochures, fliers, ads, etc. and spent hundreds of hours working on advertising layouts that I could reproduce inexpensively. That year, I bought a computer, fax machine, and hired an answering service to answer our incoming calls because I was out in the field, and it was hard to call people back.
In 1997, we had three sitters and me.
We were still having major growth and covering all the counties around Lake Lanier. Business was starting to become a strain. We changed answering services for our incoming calls, and I was still working out of my home.
In 1998, we had six sitters working and myself.
The company grew so fast that I personally started to lose control of the office work. I needed help in the office. Trying to find someone to work out of my home became a problem. At his point, I was driving approximately 200 miles a day serving clients.
I began looking for office space where I could move my business out of the house.
Then in February 1999, I found an office and we moved to our new/old location. I brought on six new sitters, hired an office assistant and reduced our coverage area to only cover Forsyth, Dawson, and North Fulton Counties
In 2001, we were in full growth mode until 9/11.
After we got our clients home, our business fell like a rock in water. Had to lay off sitters, let go of the office assistant and once again started doing all the pet sitting and office work myself. These were dark times for the pet sitting industry
In March of 2009, we expanded and moved to our current office, location at 314 A Tribble Gap Road.
Today, I have a part-time office assistant and approximately 25 sitters. We provide pet sitting/dog walking/house sitting services to over 1,500 clients.
Throughout the years, we have had our ups and downs, but we are the only continuous pet sitting company in our area.
Though many companies have come and gone, we focus on you and your pets needs and we are looking forward to the future with great anticipation of growing our relationship to better serve you.
