Oakland Runnig Fest Training Team
We have gathered hella homos from TPS to come and train TOGETHER for this years Oakland Running Festival. Choose from any of our training programs and get to it!
Long runs will be lead by our awesome Community Events Organizer, Shannon and Oakland Running Festival Alumni and TPS member, Gretchen! Please register in MBO for the long run (under group schedule) so we know who wlll be coming and we dont leave without anyone! You can contact Shannon at firstname.lastname@example.org or easily reachable in the TPS Community facebook group. The training program is easy:
any 2 TPS classes or private training sessions will fufill this.
he short runs are always half of the long distance run. So for example if you're running 3 miles for your long run, you short runs will be 1.5 miles. You are responsible to do these on your own.
we will all get together on Sundays at 9am to do the long run as a team. Meet at the white pillars in front of SF Fitness. We will warm up, run and cool down together.

A Shopping day
we have reached out to road runners and Title 9 and trying to see if we can schedule a day for all of us to go in and get some running swag...will keep you posted.
A Check in day
i m sure half way through we will have a check in day to make sure you are getting all the support you need to kick ass.
Day of race brunch
we figuered every brunch spot is going to be packed and getting reservations is going to suck and we also want to avoid the dreaded "wplitting the bill" part...soooo, we are working on throwing a catered brunch at TPS. It will likely be a pre=sold brunch which will include a dj, our new disco ball, a foam rolling station and of course, our bad ass runners and community! Stay posted!
