When Stephen Payne decided to make his home in Grant County, Indiana, after a long journey from England to Los Angeles took him finally on a pilgrimage to the birth place of James Dean, Paynes Custard and Coffee was born. Built to provide a charismatic and eclectic venue for locals to relax and socialize, Payne's has developed into a full-service restaurant that offers an intimate and unique dining experience.
