Patricia’s II Pizza & Pasta opened its doors in May 1998 as the second Patricia’s 5 dollar menuin Rockland County. The original pizzeria, Patricia’s Pizza & Deli, was located in Garnerville and was a North Rockland landmark for almost three decades. The Patricia’s reputation preceded itself when arriving in Congers. Owner, Chef Andrew Alonso, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and created a wide array of gourmet pizzas not seen before. Several of these gourmet pizzas have a cult following, such as Ham & Cheese and The Vegetarian. Imitation is the best form of flattery, which explains the countless pizzerias that have now included some of the Patricia’s gourmet pies on their menus. To this day many North Rockland residents stop in for their slice of Patricia’s pizza.
