Sheets of genoise (sponge cake) are spread with a thin layer of ganache. Then, we spread them with a layer of raspberry mousse (framboise) or espresso mousse (cafe). We roll them up and trim them to look like the festive, yule log. The raspberry (framboise) is finished in Chambord butter cream and the espresso (cafe) in chocolate butter cream. Nestled in a decorative window box, this dessert makes a wonderful gift.

Between layers of chocolate cake and genoise, you'll find vanilla cream studded with brandied cherries and the surprising crunch of Vanilla chocolate pearls. This square cake has seven layers and can serve up to 16 people. Beginning and ending in chocolate cake, this dessert layers vanilla Bavarian cream studded with brandied cherries and the surprising crunch of Valrhona chocolate pearls. Here at Patisserie Margo’s, we’ve been referred to as the bakery version of “Cheers”, where everybody knows your name. If you need desserts for a party, morning pastries for your business meetings, or just a treat for yourself after a long day, this is the place to be. We have a variety of things from muffins, scones, croissants, danish, bars, cookies, bread, quiche, sandwiches, and of course, all of our famously sinful desserts, that will fill any of your dessert needs. Of course, like any real bakery we make everything from scratch daily. Too bad there aren’t many real bakeries left.
We’ve been making our delicious baked goods and desserts for just over 10 years now. We have always made everything from scratch with no preservatives and no trans fats. Your grandmother can tell you what we mean when we say, ‘made from scratch’.
