Parkwest Fitness Services
Parkwest Fitness offers a variety of services for our members. Below you can find a complete list of services. Unlimited general classes are available with the Full Service membership or you can pay for them individually.
Equipment
At Parkwest Fitness you can find Hammer Strength free weights and circuit weight machines. Life Fitness cardio and strength training machines.
Classes
We offer a variety of classes at Parkwest Fitness to fit your needs. This includes BodyPump, Cycle, CoreStep, Aquasize, RPM, RIPP, CoreCAMP, Pilates, Yoga, Cardio Box and Aqua Zumba.
Childcare
Work out while your kids have fun! Just because your kids come first doesn't mean your fitness has to come last. It's a safe and supervised environment where your young ones can play while you exercise. Our Childcare room has been renovated! Stop by with your little one to check out our space! Childcare hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Gymnasium
Available for league basketball, volleyball, assisted care living classes, walk/run track, reservations for private banquets/receptions and more.
Personal Training
Parkwest Fitness offers personal training services at its Purdue Research Park location in West Lafayette in partnership with Lifelong Fitness, Tippecanoe County's premier personal training professional.
Swimming Pool
The aquatics area includes a 25 meter saltwater pool, shallow group exercise pool, steam & sauna, and whirlpool.
Tanning

Bodypump
BODYPUMP, the original LES MILLS barbell class, will sculpt, tone and strengthen your entire body, fast!
Cardio Box
High intensity, fast-paced, and totally addicting interval training cardio class that combines basic kickboxing and body-sculpting dance moves choreographed to the hottest music mixes. Working together to help you get lean and toned and have a blast getting there!
Core Camp
Take charge of your day with this balanced workout combining cardio and strength exercises. You'll move through a series of drills and stations utilizing steps, resistance gear and jump ropes.
Core Step
Discover new heights with Core StepĀ®! Utilizing the step in many positions and heights, with simple moves this class shapes the lower body one step at a time. Core Step is for beginners to advanced.
Cycle
Our cycle classes focus on core strength, proper alignment and riding technique. Feel the music during all-terrain rides, as you are pushed by the rhythm and motivated by the energy. Classes combine intervals, uphill sprints and resistance work for powerful workouts.
Mat Pilates
Pilates strengthens the core muscles that support the spine (neck, shoulders, abs, hips and thighs), and helps bring balance into the body. Most body aches and pains are due to muscular imbalance; Pilates helps to realign the spine in order to decrease tension, increase flexibility and strengthen the body from the inside out.
RPM
RPM is the indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training. Discover your athlete within - sweat and burn to reach your endorphin high. Like all the LES MILLS programs, a new RPM class is released every three months with new music and choreography.
Yoga
Yoga is a great complement to a well-rounded exercise routine, no matter what your fitness level. It offers a variety of modifications, styles and intensities, giving it a wide appeal among exercisers of all fitness levels and goals.
Zumba
A Latin fusion, high energy dance class with easy- to-follow moves. Zumba is a dance fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez during the 1990s. Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. Zumba's choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo and martial arts. Squats and lunges are also included.
RIP
RIP is a 60-minute barbell program for able-bodied men and women of all ages and all fitness levels. Matching movement to music and using traditional strength training allows participants to work at their own level. RIP brings innovative weight room training exercises into the group fitness arena. This program works to make you STRONG FOR LIFE!
Ripped-Tide Power Hour
This stimulating hour long water class is designed for cardiovascular and strength fitness with less impact on your joints- but not to be underestimated! RIPPED-TIDE POWER HOUR will make you sweat and reach your fitness goals. Come join us for a warm up, cardio, strength training, and cool down; while challenging your whole body and mind. Go ahead and motivate- spark up your inner Ripped-Tide!
Aquaflex
Welcome to a light fun workout which will incorporate toning and stretching. Light cardio for those joints and muscles! Come join us for a fun workout!
Aquasplash
45 minute class of Aqua Weights, walking, and running all while waking you up and getting those hearts and minds going. This is a perfect start to your morning!
Turbo Kick
Turbokick is a revolutionary group exercise program that has changed the direction of kickboxing today. Inspired by Tae Kwon Do, boxing, tai-chi, and funk this workout creates a party atmosphere that will have your members lining up for more. Keeps your class fresh with the hottest music, moves, and combos available. Created by people who understand the importance of fun!
Thrive Barre
An, energetic, fun workout that fuses fitness techniques from Dance, Pilates, and Yoga that will tone, define and chisel the whole body. The Booty BarreĀ® method is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with added cardio to burn fat fast. This is a premium class and not included in the general membership.
Tabata
Small group training that combines cutting edge HIIT exercise, sound nutrition and behavioral modification strategies. Designed in an 8 week small group (8-12 people) class session that meets 30 minutes 3 times per week. It's like having a personal trainer in a group setting, which makes it affordable and motivating by having accountability within the group. Clients bond as a group and cheer each other on through their fitness journey. The Tabata Session changes the way people think about fitness & nutrition, and will transform bodies. It's designed for individuals who want to lose weight, tone their body and/or become super-fit. This is a general class and is not included in the general membership.
Aquasize
This class is designed by Dr. Angelica Kokkalis to improve joint health for people over 40. All types of joint conditions can be helped, including recovery from joint surgery, post stroke, adhesive capsulitis (commonly known as frozen shoulder), back, shoulder, neck pain and more. Dr. Kokkalis has 24 years of experience in treating chronic pain in the field of integrative medicine, and strongly believes in the eradication of pain and recovery of joint function through aqua-size. Please join her Monday and Wednesday for an hour of health and fun.
Body Fusion
This class "fuses" barre, ballet and modern and jazz dance by focusing on foundational barre and dance skills and across the floor movements and combinations. Body Fusion will introduce members to basic modern techniques and emphasize coordination, flexibility, strength-building, proper body alignment, and movement of the spine and pelvis. It is designed to help you achieve a strong, sleek, and streamlined body and increased confidence. Previous dance experience it not required, and the class serves all ages and levels.
Practical Yoga for Men
'Practical Yoga for Men' focuses on stretching and strengthening muscles that will provide you with increased flexibility and energy to tackle any activity. Incorporate the complimentary workout in your regular routine before or after class for better mobility in the hips, hamstrings, shoulders, spine, and more.

Racquetball League
Calling all lady racquetball players! You are welcome to join the 5:30-7:00pm Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday ladies racquetball league! This group is just beginning to grow, so you will fit right in. It's a great work out and easy way to connect with others. Come for the whole time, or just part of it. Please call the Parkwest Fitness front desk 765.464.3435 in advance of one of these days to put in your name!

Gymnasium Rental
For assisted care and other approved groups, leagues: Gymnasium use - $40 per hour for 1/2 of gym + track. $80 per hour for whole gym + track $20 for track only. Give us a call to check availability.
* Les Mills and other non-premium payments classes **A family is considered 2 adults and 3 kids,under 21, living in the same house. $5 for extra children above 3. $10 extra for children above 18.
