Our human hair extensions are pre-bonded with 100% keratin protein tips to ensure the most healthy and natural hair that will last up to three months. We attach them by using a keratin fusion with your own natural hair. They are able to accept color, withstand high heat, and provide a new look for those who desire additional hair. Fiber Hair Extensions
Fiber extensions are attached to the natural hair through a four-strand braid method. With fiber extensions, you can shampoo, condition, dry, and style your hair like your own. These extensions respond very well to heat. You may use ceramic or Teflon tools at a low temperature on the hair. They hold style well and are resistant to humidity. Micro Point
Micro point link maximizes hair density by attaching four strands of a nylon hair to one of your hairs. It styles just like your own hair and has a high heat tolerance. It can be colored over because it is non-porous hair. We recommend using the hair support system in order to produce best results. Eyelash Extensions
Our eyelash extensions are attached with a medical strength adhesive. They are able to last up to a maximum of two months. For continual wear, clients are recommended to come between every two to four weeks for fills. Eyelash extensions are attached by taking one of your individual eyelashes and attaching one eyelash extension with a medical strength adhesive a dimes width out from your lash line. Japanese Hair Straightening
For Japanese hair straightening, we recommend using its product line prior to getting the service done. It is a gentle process that can be done on colored or highlighted hair. Often times, your hair is in better condition after the treatment than before. After the process, your hair must not be exposed to moisture for three days to achieve the best results.

Each eligible child receives a custom made hair replacement system constructed from thousands of hand tied strands of human hair, then shaped, cut, and styles to fit the child's head. Wigs for Kids pays a minimum of $2000 to produce each system. There is no cost to the recipient. Please contact us for any further information. Wigs for Kids appreciates and accepts hair donations that conform to the following guidelines:
Hair must be clean and dry
Minimum length for a hair donation is 12 inches
Donations should be braided or tied in ponytails and secured with rubber bands, wrapped in tissue paper or placed in a plastic bag, and then sealed in a mailing envelope.
Donations should be mailed to

Wigs for Kids appreciates the donation of one dollar with each ponytail to help offset the costs involved in administration, processing, and production.

How to care for your Hair Extensions
When sleeping, swimming, riding on motorcycles, in convertibles, or anytime hair will be disheveled pull back in a ponytail or braid! Straight, Wavy, Natural, or any of the fiber textures combined will respond to heat very well! Electric-Rollers will re-curl fiber. For a curlier texture you may use Hot Sticks. When using rollers or hot sticks wrap the ends of the extensions in tissue to avoid frizzing. Blow Dryers may be used on a low to med heat, just NOT a direct high heat. If in doubt call us 630-724-9987. Curling Irons are okay on low to med heat. 240 degrees is the optimum setting for fiber hair extensions. Avoid curling irons that are shiny and metal. We recommend Teflon or ceramic irons. Be sure to test the heat settings, to high of heat will burn and fuzz your extensions.
Shampoo
Lather in hands first, then apply to hair, scalp to ends. Apply between extensions, do NOT move your fingers into each extensions, touching your scalp working the shampoo around each extension.
Conditioner
Apply halfway down the strands of hair. Do NOT apply at scalp. Rinse well!
After washing towel dry your hair, do Not rub hair dry, pat or squeeze moisture out of hair and air dry before brushing.
Brush
Yes! You can brush your hair! And you can brush over the extensions with our cushion brushes! Brush hair from the bottom to detangle first, then move up the hair. Separate with fingers for less stress on hair.
Separate extensions with your fingers at the scalp DAILY to prevent matting.
Apply styling product and towel dry again, air dry, then if you chose blow dry hair.
