Originally in 1895, architect Carl Itzel designed the Queen Anne style building to house
the Hambach family on the second floor while leaving the first floor to be rented as retail space. Most recently before Palms inception in the fall of 2002, the first floor belonged to The Broadway Bar & Grill, a popular neighborhood hang-out. Today, the space has changed dramatically and the entire building is now used exclusively for restaurant patronage. Our second floor is available for special functions both private and public,
while our first floor is always open to the general public. At Palms, it is our goal to provide great food and drinks in an upscale, yet comfortable and casual setting.
