Class Description
Vinyasa Flow
Awaken your healing potential as you are guided you through a dynamic full body strength building Vinyasa flow style class. Your instructor will guide you through proper alignment techniques and sequences while incorporating the holistic teachings of your chakra energy systems to aid you in a deeper understanding of how yoga restores immune health, increases mental, physical and spiritual strength in your life. Each session ends with a time of meditative savasana awakening your true essence to health. Vinyasa Flow is suitable for all levels. Please be sure to make your teacher aware if you are new to yoga or have any injuries or limitations.
AntiGravity - FUNdamentals All Levels
Step into this FUNdamentals All Levels class and begin to explore different ways to invert and experiment with new and interesting skills in the AntiGravity® Fitness hammock. The contents of this class will continue to improve your proprioceptive awareness and prepare you for some of the more complicated and challenging components found in the STRENGTH & FITNESS CLASSES. (Skill level 1 & 2: Early to Intermediate.)
Aerial Yoga Level 2 (Must Take 3 Fundamentals First)
Explore the evolution of yoga into 3-dimensional space in a challenging, flow class with zero gravity inversions and no pressure on the joints. This body/mind/spirit class will take your yoga practice to a whole new level - increasing flexibility, strength all while finding a deeper connection. Every asana, vinyasa sequence, grip/wrap/trap on the Harrison AntiGravity® Hammock is named and taught with clear progressions. 3 Fundamental classes are required before taking a Level 2 class.
AntiGravity Restorative Yoga
Indulge your mind and body with AntiGravity Restorative Yoga. This very unique class involves opening the hips, spine, and connective tissue using the AntiGravity Silk Hammocks. With the hammocks lowered to just above the floor you are able to deepen the mind-body connection and your spinal flexibility as you are led through a series of gentle postures without pressure on your joints. This technique features various forms of supported asana that are accessible to all, including students with physical limitations. Experience a peaceful escape from the stress of everyday life with AGY Restorative Yoga. Bring a mat, towel and water.
Yin
Slow it down and drop into the pose for a true Yin class full of calming, opening longer held poses to the beat of mood setting music and essential oils.
Buti Yoga
This dynamic practice intuitively blends primal movement with cardio bursts and vibration to tone the body - physical, emotional + spiritual. Online classes range 30-90 minutes. Caloric burn during this class ranges from 600-900. Music guides our classes like an internal GPS. The beat blended movement forces you out of your head and INTO YOUR BODY. All formats incorporate elements of shaking + vibration to help release stored trauma and stimulate cellular reorganization.
Kids AntiGravity Ages 10-14*
Kids ages 10-14 get to test out their flight skills in a class just for them. This class is designed to introduce children to the benefits of AntiGravity Fitness. Book your space in this class and then jump on board for the remainder of the school year and summer. It's fitness that is fun and easy to stick with.
Suspension Fitness allows for a strenuous workout while preserving joint integrity. Explore the balance of gravity and the opportunity provided by the hammocks to play with that relationship, using your own body as resistance. This is a serious fitness class that offers variety, interest and fun to keep you returning for more, and that is the key to developing greater proficiency, endurance, and strength. Expect strong upper body and core work using the Harrison hammock. Bring water and a towel. Wear a shirt with sleeves that covers the armpit such as a short or long sleeve shirt. Tank tops are NOT recommended. All jewelry must be removed so it is best to leave your jewelry at home.
Gentle Yoga
Gentle Yoga is a slow and mindful practice that focuses on stretching all areas of the body while releasing tension and stress in a non-heated room. Through gentle poses, proper alignment and breath awareness you will get your blood flowing, improving circulation and relief of muscular tension. This class is suitable for all levels and is beneficial to those with physical limitations, injuries, pre and post-surgery.
AntiGravity - FUNdamentals Level I
Like all AntiGravity® Fitness plans, this class was designed with safety in mind and is accessible to all students. It includes skills that will begin to increase strength, flexibility, balance and body awareness, and a very accessible inversion to decompress the spine – a significant benefit of all AntiGravity® Fitness routines. Everyone can succeed in this important class and at least three visits are required before moving on to a Level II class. (Skill level 1: Beginner.)

About Kristen (Owner)
Kristen has always been artistic and sensible to all forms of art and creativity.
Fitness clothing design represented an active part of Kristen's need to create, and as a natural result the expression of the body followed.
Years of gymnastics gave Kristen the understanding of body awareness, yet Yoga centered all awareness and propelled her into a deeper path, one that she likes to call radiant health.
Radiant
An object or a point from which light or heat rays are emitted. Sending out rays of light; bright; shining.
Kristen then decided to join both passions and open Palm Beach Athletic Wear & Yoga,
a place that all yogis can come and find that light that emanates from one self, and possibly wear the matching outfit with it, why not Right?
Driven and determined the Opening of PBAW & Yoga is the tip of the iceberg and the beginning of a new path for Kristen, in the discovery and share of a more radiant health.

About Chrissy Vorpagel
Chrissy stumbled across yoga a few years ago, instantly discovering a connection to something that gave her a sense of peace and belonging she never knew existed. She always knew her place in this world was to help others and sought to find her niche the medical field through nursing school. Eventually she became aware of the fact that nursing was not going to fulfill her desire to help others in a way that would change the world. This realization accelerated her yoga practice spiritually and physically in a way that left her craving for more knowledge and understanding of this world and lifestyle that had given her more compassion than she could ever hold on to. So with that she dove into the journey that is becoming a teacher. She studied with Mary Veal, John Pellicci & Scott Feinberg at Kulas Transcend Yoga Teacher Training, receiving her 200 hour RYT certification and is registered with Yoga Alliance. Chrissy's passion to teach comes from her ability to connect with children and embrace her own inner child. She's very connected to her Native American roots and is most inspired by Mother Nature and all her elements. Chrissy uses yoga as a healing art for the mind, body, and soul. That is what she shares in her teaching. Yoga is a union between the mind, body and breath and that is what her teaching is rooted in.
About Rebecca "Becca" Witherington
Rebecca Witherington believes that yoga is a tool. It helps in creating a healthy lifestyle, fixing bodies that are out of whack (from either a chronic illness or day-to-day challenges), and even in boosting a negative mood. Rebecca's Story I first tried yoga after developing fibromyalgia. I went from an active, strong individual to someone who had trouble walking relatively short distances. Yoga was one of the first physical activities that I was able to participate in after developing fibromyalgia. I started with a beginner's DVD, and had a hard time with some of the most basis postures. Still, after practicing yoga for a while I noticed the pain of fibromyalgia started to dictate my life less. Yoga became my best medicine. Also, those challenging poses became more and more accessible. That was over 10 years ago. Yoga has become something I love to do, whether it's at home, in a studio, or even outside. It remains my best medicine, but now I also use it to challenge myself physically and mentally. After practicing for years, I decided to get certified as an instructor through the American Fitness Professionals Association (AFPA). I began teaching in a corporate environment, and I absolutely fell in love with teaching. It's one of my favorite things in the world. There's nothing like helping to brighten someone else's day. I tend to lead fitness based yoga with a vinyasa flow that combines my deep love of a challenge and lightheartedness with the practice of yoga. I tailor practices to match my students needs and goals. They learn to listen to their bodies, challenge themselves safely, and to use their breath as a powerful tool. I believe that yoga is challenging, fun, and therapeutic.
