Padria Mediterranean Café started with the premise that Kirkland could benefit from an affordable neighborhood restaurant that is cozy and serves delicious and healthy ethnic foods.
Padria opened on Nov 10th, 2008.
Shahin is one of the owners of Padria Mediterranean Café and the creative source of the great tastes behind the Mediterranean, Turkish and Middle Eastern dishes. Shahin wanted to make certain that Padria is not perceived as a "Greek" restaurant or a Gyro shop.
The dishes are a blend of flavors that have been enhanced based on Shahin’s own touch. This is what has made Padria such a popular destination in a very short time among many nationalities.
All items are made fresh every day; sorry we can’t zap your food to reheat it. There are no Microwaves.

Padria Mediterranean Café has a comfortable feel to it; comfort is what we experience when we enter our HOME after a busy day. Enter Padria and the first thing you see is the kitchen, right in the front. This is a departure from traditional restaurant design where the heart of the restaurant is in the back. When you sit in the dining room at Padria, you see the kitchen at work. This is done purposely to project that same feel as sitting at the kitchen counter at home.
Now let’s talk about the taste. Every single dish, sauce, and salad dressing has been perfected by Shahin through years of work and love for good food. The portions are generous, often enough for 2 meals, and the price is extremely reasonable, most dishes are under $10.
At Padria Mediterranean Café, you will find new dishes that are introduced for a limited time. The idea is for our customers to always experience new flavors from the region. Some of these dishes are for catering and events, but at times these dishes also make it as an anchor item on the daily menu.
