Scenic, rustic romantic Blue Ridge mountain getaway. Only two miles from the Peaks of Otter and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Otter's Den is a restored chestnut log homestead built in 1797 and lovingly restored by the owners. Enjoy the 40 mile plus view of Bedford and the surrounding area from your picture window, private deck or screened porch. Relax in front of a warming fire, hike the many trails on the property or near by, read, watch a movie or TV, relax in our outdoor hot tub or your private whirlpool, or just do nothing at all but enjoy the quiet and beauty of the land. All room rates are double occupancy and include a full "country" breakfast featuring homebaked bread. Each room has individual heat and air and TV, and a view that lasts a lifetime.
