Woodruff Park Yoga - Free
When: 09:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Instructor: Kevin Veloso (substitute). Description: MUST pre-register via Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.com/e/free-yoga-in-woodruff-park-tickets-59390320046. Classes take place on the lawn in the center of the Park. Yoga classes are open to the public and FREE to attend. BYOM (Bring Your Own Mat) and water. Attendees will receive a free popsicle from Mocha Pops at the end of class. These fun, accessible, and meditative practices will leave you feeling peaceful yet invigorated--and part of a great community. Vinyasa flow is yoga that incorporates sun salutations throughout the practice, so we will be passing through infamous downward facing dog, using our arms to chaturanga throughout practice, and matching breath with movement. Ashtanga Vinyasa - Half
When: 10:00 AM – 11:15 AM. Instructor: Anne Marie Johnsen. Description: The second step in our ashtanga class progression, this guided class will move you through approx half of the primary series. To prepare for you for the full primary series, attention is given to learning the sanskrit names and sequence. In this class you will build the stamina and strength to move forward, all while staying in the tristana method. More complex transitions will be introduced, as well as postures from the end of the sequence. Those brand new to yoga or to ashtanga may want to start with our ashtanga basics classes.

Sunday Hip Opening
When: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM. Instructor: Anne Marie Johnsen. Description: This class has a Sunday morning feel, starting with a slow build up to a challenging vinyasa flow. A focus on the hip (strength and flexibility) with options for arm balances and inversions included. In each class a unique sequence of asanas are blended in an effort to reach toward the full expression of more intricate postures. Although a basic knowledge of yoga is helpful, it's not required.

When: 08:00 PM – 09:00 PM. Instructor: Anne Marie Johnsen. Description: The first half of this hour long class is focused on core strengthening while the second half focuses on a combination of stretching, fascia work, long holds, and guided meditation.

Aerial Yoga Workshop Saturday
When: Saturday, 1:30pm - 3:00pm. OY Aerial is an original onlYoga technique integrating classical yoga postures with the weightlessness of an inversion swing. This creative technique builds strength and flexibility without putting pressure on the joints. The result is fun, challenging, and therapeutic and makes you feel like you are flying. Kundalini Yoga with Mary Quinn
When: Saturday, 1:30pm - 3:30pm. Kundalini yoga, as taught by yogi Bhajan is known as the science of awareness. It is a specific practice of energy and Angles, used to aid an individual in achieving a state of well being, thus leading to a purpose driven life. Kundalini uses breath, mantra, movement, and mudra in specific kriyas, or sets of postures. Meditations are active, often involving specific hand and body positioning held while chanting and or practicing a prescribed breath pattern. We will explore a Kriya, a meditation, and discuss the basic foundation and tools of this science in this 90 minute workshop. Free for members. $25 non-member. Please register in advance. Privates
Private yoga sessions allow for the sequence to be designed exactly for you. Any injuries and/or special needs are addressed in each pose. We can work towards a certain postures, set particular goals, and work on strength, flexibility, or just learn at your own pace. Sessions can be in studio or at your own home.
