Reformer Class uses the Pilates Reformer apparatus to help engage the core muscles and to let go of destructive tension by learning to monitor the way we move in any activity so that we can carry out that activity with ease and a minimum of strain to our bodies. This class aims to strengthen, lengthen, and tone every inch of your body. Reformer classes are limited to 6 participants, so you get lots of attention and form correction from the instructor. Come prepared to work hard and leave feeling accomplished!
Is Yoga right for you? It is if you want to fight stress, get fit and stay healthy! Yoga energizes the body and calms the mind through a variety of poses emphasizing balance, breath, and deep stretching. This all-levels class perfectly blends standing and seated poses giving you a full body workout. The class closes with a guided relaxation, leaving you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Restorative Flow Yoga
Looking for a class that offers deep stretching and a gentle flow? This class is rooted in movement of the breath and will provide the body with an opportunity to release stress and gain flexibility. Perfect class for those new to yoga as it moves as a slower pace and encourages the use of props such as bolsters, blankets, straps, and blocks.
One Body Barre
One Body Barre is a fun, unique, high energy class. It fuses fitness techniques from Pilates, Dance, and yoga. You will streamline, firm, tighten and tone your entire body without adding bulk. Creating balance, posture, body awareness, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance.
POP Pilates is a combination of total body Pilates exercises with the attitude of choreographed dance and the energy of music, which results in an intense workout that is FUN and effective. Students will be challenged to flow from one exercise to the next, developing a rock solid core, while leaving NO muscle untouched. Every exercise can be modified to fit YOUR personal needs. You'll leave feeling sweaty, strong and ready to take on MORE.
New to Yoga? This class is slower paced than our other classes, and focuses on developing clear and safe alignment in foundational poses. Come to learn, play, and maybe even break a sweat in a supportive environment. You don't need to be able to touch your toes; you just have to be willing to try.
This class is designed to strengthen core muscles and align the body. Using the Pilates foundation of slow, sustained, controlled movement this class will help you achieve a balanced, lean muscular physique. We also incorporate the use of Pilates props to assist our students in properly executing these fun and challenging exercises.
Mama + Baby Yoga
Join us for a fun, relaxed class that will allow you to reconnect with your body while enjoying time with your little one. This class utilizes poses that allow mom to interact with her baby while she gets in her own practice. The yoga postures will focus on helping mom restore alignment and tone as well as strengthening the pelvic floor. The breathing exercises and ending meditation will assist her in adjusting to the emotional demands of motherhood. Good for getting mom back in shape and to stimulate baby's development, too!
Vinyasa Flow is a style of yoga in which movement in synchronized with breath. This will be a faster pace class with an emphasis on sun salutations and standing poses. Some prior yoga experience is suggested.
Yoga Sculpt is an energizing blend of traditional yoga poses with the addition of 2 to 5 lb. hand weights to create more resistance and intensify your yoga practice. The combination of strength training techniques blended throughout your one hour vinyasa yoga practice opens up the possibility of a sleeker, more toned body. Weights are suggested but not required for this practice. A knowledge of basic vinyasa yoga is highly recommended.
Monthly Member Reformer
If you are a Monthly Member then this class is included. If you have no prior experience, please set up an intro session at the front desk.
This class is very similar to other Pilates classes in that it incorporates many mat and equipment-based exercises. Adding the ball increases your mind/body awareness, core strength, balance and flexibility as you perform the work on an unstable base of support. Because of this instability, the class is challenging, but fun. Each student works on their own ball and throughout the class variations and modifications are shown as needed.
Reformer with Props
This class combines work on the Reformer with props such as the jumpboard, stick, ball, and magic circle. Mix up your Reformer repertoire with this challenging class!
Hatha Yoga (26 + 2)
Hatha Yoga includes the practice of asanas (yoga poses) and pranayama (yoga breathing exercises), which help bring peace to the mind and body. This class will blend Hatha with a hot yoga style class but with NO HEAT. You will move through 26 poses and 2 breathing exercises.
1 1/2 Hour all-levels Yoga class led by Kristin Hauser.

Hello there! Here is a little bit about me and my yoga practice. I have a background as a dancer and have been practicing yoga for the past 4 years during which I felt a strong calling to teach. I have always had a passion for helping others and Yoga quickly made me feel right at home. For my training I traveled all the way to Rishikesh, India to stay in an ashram at the bottom of the Himalayas where I spent just over a month completing my 200 hour training at Shiva Yoga Peeth under Yoga Alliance in Ashtanga, Hatha, and a Vinyasa flow. It was there I learned how to deeply travel into meditation and understand Pranyama an ancient breathing technique, "Prana" is Breath or vital energy in the body. On subtle levels prana represents the pranic energy responsible for life or life force, and "ayama" means control. I now incorporate all three yoga styles, meditation, Pranayama, as well as my dance background into every session I teach giving it a very organic feel.

In 2014 she decided to commit herself to the teachings and studied under the NitaFloTribe and was certified with the Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200. Yoga has changed her life. She is more capable of letting go and finding the genuine balance of energy through meditation and yoga asana. Her goal is to teach others not only the practice of yoga, but to find the true person that lies within us all. Holly focuses on a strong yoga sculpt technique to gain strength, mobility, and balance, and to find the rhythm of the breath through pranayama.
Yoga Alliance. I started yoga due to health issues, and after my first class I fell I love with yoga. I became 200 hour yoga certified by studying under Nita Flores of FloTRIBE in 2012 and became certified with the Yoga Alliance. I guide my students through various yoga asana, pranayama, meditation, and aromatherapy. My teaching ranges from Hatha yoga, where you hold the pose while taking deep, slow breaths to teaching a gentle, restorative flow. Yoga, to me, is a healing art that has changed my life, and I hope to impact my student's lives as well. I'm honored to be apart of the One Body Studios.

Student Info & Etiquette
Getting started can seem intimidating
especially if you've never practiced before or perhaps you just haven't been feeling your greatest. Rest assured that as you step through our doors, you'll be warmly greeted by our knowledgeable staff. We strongly encourage our students to support each other, which creates an environment that pushes all of us to achieve a better quality of life.
Arrive 15 minutes early for your first class. Late arrivals may not be admitted.
A disruptive cell phone is no fun and can ruin the vibes during class. Please turn it off.
Try to limit entering and exiting the studio during class.
If you're late or need to leave during class be mindful and courteous of your fellow students. If you must leave early, let the instructor know in advance and set up by the door.
Hydrate; drink plenty of water before and after class.
Avoid eating heavy meals 2-3 hours before class.
Notify the instructor Before Class of any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy or other limitations. Let us know and we will give you suitable modifications.
Yoga and Pilates is typically done barefoot. Please be sure to remove your shoes & socks prior to practice.
Enter fresh and clean. Do not wear heavy perfume or cologne if possible. Taking a bath or shower both before and after practicing refreshes the body and mind.
Wear comfortable clothing. Lightweight clothes are best, along with supportive undergarments to keep everything in place.
We encourage you to bring a yoga mat (when taking mat classes), towels, and a bottle of water. Don't worry if you forget any of that as we have extras on hand at the studio.
Be considerate of the sacredness of the space. Pick up after yourself and wipe down the studio mats and equipment that you use. Leave the space in better shape than you found it.
Once the instructor begins class, please refrain from talking.
Go at your own pace. Enjoy the sensations. Don't push yourself to the point of physical pain.
Practice with patience. As with anything new it takes a few times to get into the flow of a class.

Pilates focuses primarily on movement from the center, deep within the abdominal area. From our center we support our spine and major organs, strengthen the back and improve alignment and posture. Thus, when developed properly with practice, we are less vulnerable to fatigue and lower back pain. Pilates improves strength, flexibility, stamina, and stability. Over time, this approach creates a strong foundation from which one can achieve new heights of physical fitness and control, as well as emotional well-being and balance. We offer group reformer and mat classes in addition to private and semi-private classes.

Build to Balance with Savannah Smith & Holly Jones
Day: Sat; Date: May 20, 2017; From: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. This workshop will focus on basic to challenging arm balance poses such as supported side plank, side crow and more. After a brief warm-up we will explore fun and challenging arm-balance poses. All are welcome as everyone can approach this at their own pace and comfort. Contrary to popular belief, balancing on your arms does not mean having strong arms and putting all your weight on them, but rather learning to shift your weight, engaging other muscle groups (like your core), and counter-balancing so your arms hold the least amount of weight possible. Some call it the art of weightlessness. This will be an open forum for trying new things, reviewing old ones, and refining arm balance poses that remain a challenge for you.
