Old School has been proudly serving up our delicious frozen custard in the Puget Sound area since 2007. It is a smoother, creamier, and more flavorful than any super premium ice cream. And it contains fewer calories, too!
We make our products fresh all day, in a special frozen custard producing machine, using only the highest quality ingredients. This is the best ice cream you have ever tasted, only better!
At Old School frozen custard shops, you'll find the traditional flavors -- Vanilla and Chocolate, and a special, new Flavor of the Day every day of the month (check out our flavor calendar!). We serve our product the traditional ways -- scooped into cups and cones, or as a "concrete". A "concrete" is the original "blizzard," a blended combination of our frozen custard and your choice of mix-ins from our huge selection of toppings and syrups. Naturally, it is done the Old School way.
Frozen custard debuted in America in the 1880's on menus of the East Coast's best hotels and resorts. Its popularity grew quickly by word of mouth -- without help from Twitter or Facebook -- so by 1919, Coney Island scoopers were serving it as a carnival treat to the general public. By 1933, it had become internationally famous -- as the featured dessert of the Chicago World's Fair. Today, millions of Americans know and love frozen custard, and now Old School Frozen Custard brings this marvelous frozen dessert to you!
