She earned her Associates in Science Degree in Therapeutic Massage with emphasis in Neuromuscular Therapy and Sports Massage from Florida College of Natural Health in Orlando, Florida in 2003. She is certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Michelle is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Florida and is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She earned her Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Science from East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida. The curriculum at this school consists of over 3000 hours of training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, practical clinical experience, and adjunct therapies which include Japanese Acupuncture, Tui na (Chinese Massage), eastern nutrition, moxibustion, cupping, electrical stimulation, Guasha and Auricolotherapy. Michelle also completed 60 hours of externship with Dr. Guillermo Caceres of Bloomingdale Wellness Center in Brandon, Florida. Michelle decided to pursue a career in Traditional Chinese Medicine after seeing the declining health of her family and friends. Her desire is to help others regain their health and lives back through treating the whole person and addressing all aspects of her patients' lives. By forming a team with her patients, we are able to bring balance to all areas of the patients' life, physical/mental, spiritual health, diet and lifestyle habits.
