About Us
Nico’s started years ago when Chef Jesse Romo and his brother Nico decided to venture into the catering business. After achieving a great success and experience with the restaurant world, in 2001 they opened their first catering business, Sona Rosa, a place where they could bring all their roots from Mexico City to the local dinners in Dallas.
Due to their successful catering partnership, they now opened Nico’s TexMex Cantina to bring the true Tex-Mex traditions to the Richardson locals; and soon to open more locations.
Catering is one of our specialties, our experienced staff is prepared to deliver and set up your event in the most professional way you can imagine. We feature different packages that you can choose from. We can also accommodate your private and business parties such as Christmas and other holiday events, business luncheons and more.
We offer an array of platters for your catered events, from traditional Tex-Mex dishes such as Enchiladas, Chimichangas, Fajitas, Tacos, to Barbecued meats, Italian dishes such as Penne pasta, Spaghetti and meatballs, and much more!!! If you prefer Breakfast options, we feature Scrambled eggs, Migas, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, fresh fruits as well as your Tex-Mex staples (rice, refried beans and tortillas).
