I was first certified by Yamuna Zake (creator of Yamuna Body Rolling) nearly 20 years ago as a body therapist/educator, using ball therapy. In addition, I have also become certified as a personal fitness trainer, and as an instructor in TRX suspension training.
I am certified in the Muscle Activation Techniques, MAT Jumpstart Program
And most recently, have engaged in advanced exercise mechanics education via the RTS: Resistance Training Specialist, 123 Continuum programs.
Body Rolling
BODY ROLLING is a unique method which uses specially designed balls
4 to 10 inches in diameter, in very muscle specific routines to create length in muscles and space in joints. The work always starts with consideration and analysis of your individual skeletal alignment and how we can strategically use the balls with intention to improve your posture and enhance fluid movement.
Unlike the foam rolling technique
Which is primarily designed to roll out general tightness in the muscles, Body Rolling routines go beyond general muscle tightness to address and promote healthy alignment of bone. These routines are also designed to teach you more about how to use all the muscle groups in the body together in a more balanced way, promoting strength and joint integrity
This unique form of exercise works very well independently
Or as a compliment to other forms of sports and other daily activities. You will find your participation and love of other sports or exercise more enjoyable.
My practice is based largely on bodywork done
With the Yamuna balls but there are other elements in terms of movement incorporated into my programs to make this system effective for you. Body Rolling may just be the key to unlocking your potential.
Trx Fusion
Every suspension training exercise builds
Truly functional strength and improves flexibility, balance and core stability all at once, as is required on the playing fields of sport and in life. The benefits of suspension training are relevant for everyone who seeks a method to safely and rapidly improve their fitness. In addition to offering a range of intense movements targeting the abdominals specifically, significant core strengthening is integrated into each back, shoulder, chest , hip and leg exercise as well. This is why we say training on the TRX is "all core all the time". In this class body rolling is fused with TRX. This allows you to greatly increase your mobility and strength in a very balanced way that feels great!
Floor Exercise
Basic standing and sitting exercises used
To improve the tone, definition and strength of the muscles in your body. Some are traditional exercises or established moves from exercise systems, such as yoga and Pilates, and focus on improving your posture naturally. Boost your confidence, too.
Exercise Balls
A workout with an exercise ball can be a beneficial way to help improve muscle tone and balance.
It is a large, air-filled ball that is comfortable to use during fitness workouts. It is not uncommon for the exercise ball to be referred to as a Swiss ball, stability ball, gym ball, or a yoga ball. Despite being air-filled, it is generally heavy-duty and capable of supporting 600 to 700 pounds of weight. People can use exercise balls to stretch their muscles or do basic abdominal exercises. The soft, inherently unstable surface of the ball activates the entire core structure. This strengthens the muscles of your core, improves proprioception—or awareness of your body as it moves through space—and improves posture, balance and coordination. They can be used for low-impact aerobic exercise and strength training exercise routines. These are skills that translate into improved sports and fitness performance and better protection from injury.
Resistance Bands
Bands enable you to perform exercises that cannot be done with free weights, and bands can easily change resistance.
You can use them for sport-specific exercises, as well as a variety of exercise programs for conditioning both specific muscle groups and for overall fitness. Rubber tubing will allow you to increase muscle strength, power, and speed, helping you to alter your appearance by aiding fat loss and changing the appearance of your muscles. The benefits of strength training with rubber tubing goes far beyond the performance and appearance changes many people initially seek when they start their training. And they are so portable.

The goal is to help you develop more strength and balance in all the different muscle groups of your body, and to train all the muscle's in your body to function (working together) more efficiently as one unit. All which is quite beneficial to improving one's posture and maintaining joint integrity.
Group Sessions
A group session allows you

Session
What to expect in a private session
$50.00
In a 60 minute private session, I will provide you with a customized exercise program that is based on what your needs are on any given day. I will use a hands-on technique using the body rolling balls in a way that is similar to massage to assist you in clearing your body of tension and stress. This method also facilitates good body alignment. I will implement Muscle Activation Technique (MAT) during this session. The goal of the MAT evaluation process is to find out where the body displays positions of vulnerability or weakness. We must know that when we increase range of motion through modalities like stretching or massage, that there is also stability through that increased range. This is why MAT is a great adjunct to all forms of exercise and therapy. The emphasis in this session is placed on strengthening the weaker areas of your body to bring more balance into the muscle groups surrounding all of the joints in your body. A private session may promote healing deeper than what you may achieve on your own, and is also going to give you some good tools for injury prevention that is appropriate for anyone regardless of age or activity level.
Maybe it's time to decide to start your own body revolution today! And here is why...
