Most people are aware that Neptune was the Roman God of the Sea, but in reality he reigned not only over the sea, but over all bodies of fresh water. Neptune claimed all of the marvelous world beneath the surface as his realm. We chose the name Neptune's Realm Scuba Center because we have a passion for sharing this amazing world that so many never get to experience. We ask this question: "Why would you be satisfied sitting outside of the aquarium, tapping on the glass, when you can be a part of the spectacular underwater world?"
We want to welcome you to Neptune's Realm.
We are ready to provide all of the tools and training that you need to fully explore and enjoy the world beneath the surface known as Neptune's Realm. At Neptune's Realm, we do not just sell equipment and certify people to Scuba dive. We are actively looking for people who want to dive in to a new adventure. If that is you, our job is to help you develop your diving skills to their fullest potential and to provide to you with the opportunities and training neccessary for you to explore and enjoy the wonderful world beneath the surface. It's time to embark on your journey into Neptune's Realm! Neptune's Realm Scuba Center is a full service NAUI Technical Training Facility offering classes from the entry level Scuba Diver course through leadership level classes including Instructor. NAUI, the National Association of Underwater Instructors, is the oldest, most respected training agency for Scuba Diving in the United States. Certification with NAUI is recognized and accepted all over the world - no matter where your journey takes you. Neptune's Realm Scuba Center is committed to providing the most comprehensive training available. We recognize that you have options. You can choose to become a Scuba Diver or you can spend your valuable time and hard earned money on some other activity all together. If you do decide to become a Scuba Diver or want to continue your training and you choose to come to us, we promise to provide the best training available and we promise you will have fun in the process! We teach beginner classes monthly at the Kennett Area YMCA, the Jennersville YMCA and the Western Family YMCA (in Newark, DE) so there are ample opportunities for you to learn to dive with us. If you are interested in class that you do not see listed here, or if you do not see a convenient time for your class, please call or email the dive center to discuss availability and scheduling. Services
Our repair facility offers service on all major brands of scuba equipment. Don't be "left out to dry" without properly serviced gear when you are ready to go diving. Keeping your dive equipment in top working order is essential! Protect your investment and your safety by making sure your regs, tanks and computers are current.
Regulators (parts not included)
All regulators brought in for service are handled by our factory trained technician(s) and are tested prior to disassembly to benchmark their performance. Regulators are completely disassembled; metal parts first are placed in a heated regulator cleaning solution in an ultrasonic cleaner, after a fresh water rinse they are placed into a heated degreaser/soap solution. Rubber and plastic parts only undergo the degreaser/soap solution. All parts are rinsed and dried. The regulator is lastly reassembled using factory authorized parts and adjusted to factory specifications. Annual service prepares the regulator for nitrox use.

BC’s (parts not included)
BC’s have the power inflator removed and are rinsed with a cleaning solution and then flushed with fresh water. The power inflator is disassembled and cleaned in the appropriate ultrasonic cleaner before being rinsed and reassembled. Performance of the power inflator is checked and the BC is left inflated for 12 hours to ensure air retention.

All tanks are inspected by technicians certified by PSI (Professional Scuba Inspectors) to PSI, OSHA and CGA standards. Certifications are renewed on a regular basis.

Rental Policies and Information
Reservations are strongly recommended in order to assure that the equipment you need will be available for you.
Payment for rental equipment must be made prior to any equipment leaving the shop. We require a credit card on file as security.
Refunds are not provided for equipment which is not used.
All equipment should be checked and tested by the customer with a shop employee present before leaving the store to insure
that it is fully functional and in good working order. Any problems encountered with rental equipment are subject to a store credit, not a refund.
Rental equipment may be picked up the day before a dive/trip and returned the day after at no additional cost.
Equipment not returned by the date on the rental agreement will be charged a $25 per day, per item additional rental fee.
If you are unable to return the equipment on the day that it is due back, please contact the dive center at the earliest possible time so that we are aware and can try to make other arrangements for another customer who may have the equipment reserved.
All equipment must be returned in the same condition as when it left the store.
Wetsuits, hoods and gloves should be washed and hung to dry before return to the dive center.
Tanks returned with less than 200lb working pressure will need to be VIP'ed and possibly O2 cleaned
and the charges for these services, at currently listed prices, will be charged to the customer.
