Munchie P’s first opened its doors in 1977 and has been serving the Tri-Cities for the past 30 years. Many local Geneva residents have been loyal customers since childhood. Over the years Munchie P’s has went through a series of facelifts. Originally built as a drive-in, it was strictly run as a seasonal operation, serving customers only in the summer months. But as the taste and demand for Munchie P’s grew, it expanded its hours all year long, housing a new inside dining area to serve its patrons. As Geneva grew, Munchie P’s grew with it. In 2002, Munchie P’s went through another change. Geneva had to bid farewell to the original building to make room for a larger facility, all complete with modern amenities. Munchie P’s offers the same great taste and service, with a more comfortable atmosphere. Still located at 415 East State Street in Geneva, you can come in and look at a piece of history with photos of the original building and customers throughout the years. Even the original sign that has greeted the commuters on State Street for the past four decades, is now displayed inside the restaurant. Munchie P’s would like to thank the community for its patronage and loyalty, throughout the years and looks forward to many more.
