Monnie Burke’s serves New American plates and inventive craft cocktails in the vibrant Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. Executive Chef Ryan Burns utilizes seasonal ingredients to create bold and unexpected flavors. Our cocktail program, created by Beverage Director Lance Bowman, is part culinary driven, part modern mixology, with some roots tying back to the classics. The elegant interior is accompanied by a spacious outdoor dining space, which is outfitted with planter boxes, climbing greenery and twinkling bistro lights overhead. The patio is tucked privately between buildings so it provides that magical feeling of being able to escape the hustle and bustle of the city to an outdoor oasis, even if just for a few hours.
We are family-owned and our concept is inspired by a beloved aunt — Monnie Burke — who was adored by her many nieces and nephews. Monnie was warm and welcoming with classic style and a sense of adventure. We created Monnie Burke's to honor her and all the love she brought to our family and others. She had a very special ability to make all feel welcome, and at Monnie Burke’s, we strive to do the same.
