Masa Miyake opened Miyake Restaurant in June 2007 with the help of his wife, and soon only one other employee. Initial customers braved the hole-in-the-wall exterior and sparse interior to try Masa's unique cuisine. Influenced by years of experience at highly acclaimed French and Italian restaurants in Tokyo and New York, Masa has crafted a distinctive style of his own. Miyake Restaurant provides a comfortable dining experience and impeccable ingredients. Masa's focus is on the food and how it can be shared with those who are open to a perpetually changing experience. The small menu is designed to offer diners the opportunity to order a la carte or to go the adventurous route and try the (chef tasting) with an option of three, five, or seven courses.
