Featured Brut Champagne
R.H. Coutier, "Tradition", NV $120
In 1946, the Coutier family became the first to plant Chardonnay in the grand cru village of Ambonnay, the heart of the Montagne de Reims. This was a substantial break from the tradition of Pinot Noir dominant champagnes in the region. A fine balance between texture and firmness define R.H. Coutier's wines, thanks to the warmer microclimate and chalky limestone soil. Five generations later, R.H. Coutier's rich family history is captured in their house style: a marriage of the richness of the Ambonnay fruit and the pure, racy style that the family cherishes.

Featured Alsace Riesling
Domaine Emile Beyer, "Eichberg", 2022 $180
The history of Eguisheim — the birthplace of Alsatian viticulture — is intertwined with the history of the Beyer family. Since the 18th century, the family's long tenure as grape growers has been defined by the diligent and meticulous nature of their winemaking. The terroir of the Eichberg Grand Cru, or "Oak Tree Hill", is the pride of Eguisheim. This single-vineyard Riesling reflects the power and longevity of Alsatian Grand Cru wines. The wine's creamy texture is bracketed by a lively mineral acidity and long finish; a true representation of the finesse and remarkable typicity of Alsace and Domaine Emile Beyer.

Though steeped in generational history, Florent Baumard continues to steward his family's estate into the future much like the region Savenièrres itself. While historically a region sought out for its sweeter wines, it is now famed for its dry, ageable whites which Florent has been bottling under screw caps ever since 2005 - including this prestige bottling, Clos du Papillon! Named after the butterfly shape of the vineyard, Florent hand harvests only the most perfect grape bunches each pass through Clos du Papillon which results in a concentration of shimmering-mica-like minerality wrapped around bountiful orchard fruits.

Albariño, Pazo Barrantes, Rías Baixas, 2021 $140
Pazo Barrantes' Galician Palace in the Val do Salnés, the premier subregion for Albariño, boasts surrounding vineyards which are now just as awe inspiring as the palace's presence. Albariño is prized for its refreshing acidity, iconic salinity, and effusive, apricot flavors. What happens when this centuries old estate reshapes itself, holds its wine back for more careful and gentle aging, giving the wine time to flourish? Well, their Gran Vino springs to life with those favorite Albariño hallmarks while embracing a slightly richer texture with a complex maturity.

Featured American Chardonnay
Freeman, "Ryo-Fu", Russian River Valley, 2022 $140
Ken and Akiko Freeman are bound by love and a shared passion for producing California wines that rival those of Burgundy. Laying roots in 2001, the West Sonoma Coast-based winery has built an identity on balance and elegance. Akiko Freeman, who leads winemaking, was the first woman to receive a Green-White medal from the Dar Nihon Agriculture Society of Japan, honoring an exceptional contribution to the agriculture industry. Today, Freeman Winery is recognized as one of California's most acclaimed small producers. Ryo-Fu, meaning "cool breeze" in Japanese, is a fitting name for the Chablis-reminiscent wine that is shaped by the cooling microclimate that defines the Russian River Valley.

Featured Crozes-Hermitage
Alain Graillot, 2021 $130
From chemical engineer to celebrated vintner, Mr. Graillot found a nook of the world to literally dig into and propel into the limelight. Previous to him, Crozes-Hermitage's Syrahs lived in the shadow of its tiny and elite neighbor, Hermitage. With the help from some friends of Burgundian wine prestige, he took long unattended vineyards and a quite under-attended winery to create a Syrah with far greater intrigue than thought possible from here. Deep with inky black fruits, savory spices wound all around them, and a broad but not domineering body - it's clear why the late Alain Graillot is enshrined in French wine history and why his sons now masterfully follow in his footsteps.
