The building that Miles Farmers Market occupies has been several things since the early 1900?s. The current owner Frank Cangemi has transformed this building with many expansions and 40 years of hard work into what it is today.
In 1971 Frank Cangemi opened Miles Farmers Market as a seasonal open air market selling fresh fruits and vegetables. Arriving at the Northern Ohio Food Terminal every morning at 3:00 a.m. and working with local farmers, Frank hand selected the finest fruit and freshest vegetables for his customers as he still does today. Frank worked long hours with the help of his parents, Ben and Dorothy along with his sister Donna to make Miles Farmers Market the vibrant store our customers have come to know.
