About Us
Since 1958 Milano Bakery has existed with significant name recognition. The bakery was originally located at Six Mile & Oakland in Detroit. As the business prospered through strong and consistent product distribution, the location was quickly outgrown, requiring, in 1981, the bakery's relocation to the Buchanan location, also in Detroit.
In 1995, it again became apparent that Milano Bakery had outgrown it's Buchanan facilities. A plan was crafted to build a larger facility which would all the bakery to accommodate the increasing demands of its customers and to expand into related markets, and in early 1999 the project was completed making Milano Bakery the largest Hearth Bakery in Michigan.
