Ranked as one of Chicagoland's top 20 by Chicagoland Golf Magazine, the 18-hole, par 71, contemporary design serves to enhance its gently rolling topography and moderate slope with accentuated stands of mature oak trees. The championship tees now stretch to 6,848 yards, making the course rating 73.4 and slope rating 138, a challenge to even the most accomplished golfers. Bentgrass tees and large Bluegrass fairways give the course an excellent manicured touch, while various greenside bunkers add to the challenge. Natural, spring fed lakes and creeks come into play on seven holes, the most dramatic falling evenly around the layout at the 6th and 18th holes. The driving range boasts a 100 x 300 foot Bentgrass tee which features target greens and bunkered greens. There is also a practice putting green.
