300 Hour Method Yoga Training
Our 300-Hour Advanced Training Course is for experienced teachers or students seeking to deepen their practice and knowledge of yoga. Our program builds on our 200 YTT and then deepens those ideas while presenting new ones as well. The training will expose students to a variety of modes of learning, through a variety Somatic Yoga and Tibetan meditation practices. This 300-Hour Yoga Alliance Registered Advanced Studies Program has a unique structure consisting of both group and independent study. Over the 9-month program, students will engage with the lessons of the various methods discovering their own learning process and then in turn how to work with and teach this kind of spontaneous learning to others. The skills developed by the end of the training will consist of increasingly refined variations that reveal the complexities and subtleties of these themes, as the main aspects of the work. 155 hours will be open for each student to individualize her or his own interests within the training. This gives each student the ability to direct their own continued learning. That is, 155 hours of the 300 hrs will be each student's chosen field of study they will pursue outside of the program but only if they choose to do so. Method Yoga will also provide the additional 155 hours at the studio for the students to take "in house" if they so wish. This allows the participants to specialize in their own individual interests. Training will include selected free classes and workshops!

Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that are not typically reached in a more active style of asana practice. This style of yoga can seem passive, or soft, and is suitable for all levels of students, but the yin practice can be quite challenging due to the long duration of holding the poses. We can remain in the postures anywhere from one to ten minutes. Because we move slowly in this class, we have the opportunity to create stillness in the mind, creating a deeply relaxed, and even meditative state
200 Hour Method Yoga Training
Our 200-hour training program offers a coherent set of experiences that fosters growth, without becoming formulaic. The training will be taught through a Somatic perspective, specifically designed to promote the cultivation of sensory awareness, or mindfulness. The curriculum includes instruction and practice in Yoga techniques including, asana, pranayama, relaxation, meditation and integration. In addition to the techniques and a foundation in yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology, you'll learn effective methods for designing classes, correct bio-mechanical movement in and out of postures, as well as somatic movement patterns and techniques for working with the nervous system

Method Vinyasa - prerequisite required
Method Vinyasa is our new signature class, that is structured slightly differently than some of our other classes. The uniqueness of this class is that it combines all of the elements we offer at our studio, Asana (postures), Somatics, Pranayama (breathwork) and Meditation. The class is a "form", much like one would find in Tai Chi, Qigong or Ashtanga Yoga. This means that students will be introduced to a set of postures that they will learn over time at their own pace, with the assistance of an experienced instructor. To participate in this class, we ask that you complete the Intro to Method Vinyasa series in advance
