Merwin Liquors has been a fixture in Minneapolis since before the television set. Your grandparents may have taken a streetcar to pick up that bottle of wine for the weekend and stopped into the soda fountain for a referesher. Back then, we didn't stock flavored vodka, absinthe or single malt scotch. Things were a bit more basic than that.
