Mema, the owner's grandmother, lived in Alaska with her husband during the 1950's. It was there that she learned how to make these tacos.cooking the meat and shell together creates a uniquely delicious taco. Like mema did before us, we use quality ingredients and make our tacos to order. Our refried black beans are made from scratch (as is all of our food!) and contain no lard - only veggies and olive oil.
