The original Mandarin Restaurant was opened, in Beaverdale, in 1978 by the Liu Family, where it hosted thousands of wonderful, unforgettable memories such as: weddings, birthdays, family reunions, graduation parties, as well as a few not-so-wonderful memories, such as when the floods of 1995 and 2008 victimized the Mandarin. The Mandarin has always been known for its unwavering and flawless marriage of essential Asian flavors. Chinese chef Kevin Liu has spent more than half his life perfecting flavors that bring everyone back to the “real Asia”.
