Chef Kyle Burke & Pam Menzel are a husband & wife team that have been best friends and soul mates for the past 18 years.
Chef Kyle graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and has worked invarious fine dining establishments over the past 20 years and has won "Best Desserts of Charlotte" for several years.
The restaurant name "Maestro's" is a tribute to Pam's parents, Richard & Rosemarie Menzel, who have passed away but are still ever-present in Kyle & Pam's hearts. Richard & Rosemarie were a true husband & wife team who ran a violin shop together for over 30 years.
Pam's father, Richard, owned a violin shop and was an accomplished violinist who also had a passion for fine dining. Rosemarie, (Rose), Pam's beloved mother was the embodiment of grace and elegance. Hence the name Maestro's seemed befitting for the restaurant ... Maestro meaning "master musician' and "rose" the first part of Pam's mom's name.
